kind of a strange question you are asking !
But never mind at all, I’m
here to help you … If you are looking for a definition of Irc I think this one
should do :
Irc: Is an abbreviation of Internet Relay
Chat, and more precisely, Irc is defined in that way:
An Internet program that
immediately displays the typed messages of any member of a group on the entire
members screen.
The most widely used server
on Irc is dalnet, for more info click here.
To join dalnet just open an
Internet connection and open your irc script, if u don't have one, download one
here.
Then type /server irc.dal.net
and you are in!!
Note that you'll find all

In This Section , I'll Try To
Give All Who Are New In Dalnet Some Helpfull Hints To Make Them Feel
Comfortable With Irc.
1.Registering A nickname:
Once You Are In Dalnet And
Generally on Irc , You'll Be Asked To take A nickname. This Nick shouldn't Be
taken By Any Other User.
To Take A nick Just Type
:/nick <Urnickhere>
Then to Register It Type :
/nickserv register <passwd> <Uremailhere>
After A while , You'll
Recieve An Email From Dalnet That Will Guide You To Fully Register Your Nick.
2.Identifying Your
Nick:
Every Time You Join Irc And
Take A Registered Nick , Nickserv Will Ask You To Identify For It Or Your Nick
Will Be Changed In 60 secs.
All You Have to Do then Is To
Type :/nickserv identify <Urpasswdhere>.
3.Registering And Joining
A channel:
To Register A Channel It
Musn't Be Operated By Chanserv.
To Register It You must Be OP
And Then You Can Type:/chanserv Register #channelname <passwd>
<Description>
To Identify A Channel , Just
Type :/chanserv Indentify #channelname <passwd>.
To Join A Channel Just Type
:/j #channelname (DUH!)
4.Adding Aop's And Sop's
To Your Channel:
To Add A Sop To A Channel You
Must Have Founder Access To The Channel (Identified With the Channel Passwd Or
To The Founder's Nickname).
TO Add Aop, Only Sop Access
Is Requiered.
TO Add Sop's Or Aop's, Just
Type :/chanserv *op #channelname Add <nickname>
Note That The Nickname You Are Adding Must Be registered.
